Eccentric bottom brackets have traditionally been used on tandems and single speed bikes with vertical drop outs.
By introducing eccentric to press fit you can now not only convert your vertical dropout frame to single speed but also adjust your geometry.
By rotating the press fit cups in your frame you can essentially tweek your chainstay length or BB height. If you are converting to single speed this however will be dictated buy your chain length.
Converting to Eccentric will not alow the use of 30mm axels. A 24mm axle crank set will be required along with a PF30 compatible frame.
