In August 2014, endurance racer Mike Cotty rode 1,000 kilometres non-stop from Venice to Chamonix – over 50 hours of continuous riding. He expected to change shorts three or four times. In the end he rode the whole way in one pair of Ksyrium Pro bib shorts. One of the secrets to their epic comfort is their new Ergo 3D Pro Endurance insert: made with multi-layer Ortholite® memory foam (in two densities for different rider weights). It covers your ischal and perineum areas and increases shock absorption by 20% compared to a standard insert. For extra comfort the insert foam is pre-shaped to fit perfectly against the saddle in your riding position. Plus the shorts feature ergonomic flatlock seams mapped to the contours of your legs to reduce irritation. Ergo Grip Race fabric stops the shorts riding up. They also feature our lightest Skin Power fabric for muscle support and quicker active recovery, and a mesh bib for better ventilation. Check out Mike’s Venice to Chamonix mission.
