Fast Touring Geometry
The Touring bikes' geometry strikes the perfect balance between long/stable and short /nimble, and between upright comfort and forward efficiency, making it equally enjoyable under full load, or no load at all.
Fast Touring Spec
To capitalize on the true all-around versatility of these bikes, they are equipped with road components and compact 50/34 cranks mated to low range cassettes, as well as flared bars for extra stability. The right mix of fast and forgiving.
The Right Fit - 650b or 700c
Large volume 40c tires and 700c wheels can make fitting smaller riders a challenge, so to deliver the best riding experience for all, the Touring bikes use 650b wheels for size 48 and 51cm, and 700c for the larger sizes.
Optimized 6061 Alloy Construction
Cannondale’s legendary double-pass smooth welds join optimally shaped taper-butted tubes for a great combination of svelte light weight, stiffness and durability.
Save Stays
The shape and butting of the Touring's seat stays and chain stays give them exceptional lateral and torsional rigidity, but also allows a touch of vertical flex, which helps the bike float over rough stuff and track cleanly through corners
Disc Brakes
If you're loaded with gear, brakes become even more crucial, so the whole Touring range is equipped with powerful, controllable disc brakes.
