The Cube 160 makes sure that entering the world of real bicycling will be a good and fun experience. With its 16" wheels the bike keeps that simple and confident handling feel needed to make learning to ride a bike pleasant, while giving the rollability to go on real rides with the parents. We offer the bike in three fresh colours so that every child can find a perfect match: The white/black'n'blue Teamline, an adventurous black'n'green or the red/pink girl´s bike. After all - why should only mom and dad be allowed to ride trendy bikes?
Frame
With its tough and light 6061 aluminium frame and Hi-Ten fork we set a good start for an enjoyable ride. The frame is tailored specifically for the needs of young kids and creates confidence to make that vital transition from pushing and balancing the bike to pedalling it as easy as possible.
Components
Along with the increase in physical abilities, speed and the need for brakes also increases. For the Cube 160 we opted for the intuitive rear coaster brake and a simple to control rim brake on the front with lever dimensions suitable for children´s hands.The completely encased chain, stem padding and the soft grip ends minimize the consequences of overly enthusiastic riding manoeuvres. The Shorty mudguard on the back keeps spray down and gives that cool moto cross look that the kids love. For the first contacts with street traffic we included a safety package consisting of a high-visibility flag, a bella and spoke reflectors. And for the very first learning attempts the package also includes a set of training wheels.
Wet Paint Surface
On polished, brushed aluminium and all HPC frames, the logos and graphics are applied in multi-layer wet paint. We use this surface treatment technology mainly to save weight.
