Designed in the UK for the urban environment, the Saracen Hack 1 is a mile-munching & well-equipped city slicker during the week, with a penchant for getting down and dirty racing cyclocross events at the weekend.
The aerospace grade 6061 alloy frame is hydroformed to produce the complex shapes needed to give it great performance on and off the tarmac, yet it still maintains the eyelets needed to fit mudguards and a pannier rack for excellent all-round versatility.
The lightweight and stiff carbon fork features a tapered steerer and also maintains mudguard eyelets, so whether you’re racing through dirt or commuting through puddles, you can keep the crud away from your face.
Shimano’s workhorse Sora gearset with a compact 50-34 chainset gives you the range of gears you need to pedal up low-speed grass hillocks and dash through urban-speed traffic with ease.
Your ace-in-the-hole against the mud and urban grime are the Tektro Mira disc brakes, which provide optimum performance whatever conditions you throw at them.
