- A great shoe for the money with the added bonus that you can heat them up and shape them to your feet. In practise, I found I needed to heat them to at least 90 degrees for 30 minutes in order to soften the soles (rather than the 70 degrees recommended), and they didn't re-shape as much as I thought they would. However, still a great shoe and with a bit of 'persuasion' from the thin end of a wooden spoon, I got the shoes to fit my short but very wide feet rather well (I'm a UK size 4.5 with EEE width).
- The ratchet feels cheap, is very notchy and doesn't feel like it'll stand the test of time. There are far cheaper shoes out there with a much better quality ratchet.
