Comete Road is the go to choice for all of our time trial and Olympic triathlon riders. Its high modulus unidirectional carbon fiber flanges wrapped over a honeycomb structure deliver the stiffness that powerful cyclists need. While the drive side flange is flat to leave the cassette space, the non-drive side is lenticular, which is the perfect solution for low drag. In some wind conditions, the wheel offers a forward lift and is even able to generate its own speed. The carbon flanges are bonded to an aluminum alloy rim core that’s Exalith enhanced to deliver the best braking performance in the wet or dry, giving you the confidence to brake late and keep your momentum high. It comes with our Yksion Pro Powerlink tubular tires, which offer the lowest possible rolling resistance. The 127 TPI casing and nylon puncture breaker are supple to deliver a smooth ride and the tread pattern releases the pressure on the ground while efficiently evacuating water to maintain grip in any conditions.
