This is what a reliable, low-maintenance and affordable urban pedal-assist e-bike looks like - and for 2017 we've upgraded the gears from 7 to 8 speed. The CUBE Travel Hybrid provides superbly reliable, easy-to-use and environmentally friendly mobility. It's all thanks to an innovative and comfortable frame, state-of-the-art Bosch drive and battery technology and high quality, comfortable finishing components.

Frame: We used state-of-the-art measurement technology to analyse the impacts and effects of the Bosch motor on the frame, as well as taking into account the rider's behaviour as they control the bike. Using this information, we designed the frame around the specific requirements of the drive system. The result is an incredibly stable step-through aluminium frame with amazing steering precision, thanks to an oversized hydroformed down tube, strengthened bottom bracket and head tube sections, double chainstay and double chamber seat tube.

Features: We based this bike around Bosch's Active Drive Unit with a 400Wh battery as standard - and you can upgrade to 500Wh for extra range. The combination of 8 speed Shimano Nexus hub gear and hydraulic Magura HS11 rim brakes makes for low maintenace, safe riding - and we added a Hebie Chainglider to fully enclose the drive system, meaning you won't need to clean the chain or risk getting any oil on your clothes. The RFR suspension seatpost, Selle Royal saddle, CUBE handlebar and Suntour NEX suspension fork all add that extra little bit of comfort. An Abus frame lock keeps your bike safe from theft - and we've ensured that it uses the same key as the battery lock. Busch & Müller's modern LED lights can be controlled from the handlebar display and draw their power directly from the Bosch system battery. A Racktime Eco luggage rack adds cargo-carrying versatility, while Schwalbe's Spicer tyres provide both comfort and grip when you need it most.
