Frame: Our engineers' expertise in aluminium frame design and e-bike technology shines through in the Touring Hybrid SL. Because the torque output of Bosch's drive system is so great, they incorporated a double chainstay, double chamber seat tube and hydroformed down tube for the Easy Entry version, which incoporates the battery into the luggage rack to make the step through easier. For the Classic Men's and Trapeze frames our engineers have repositioned the battery to the down tube for more stable handling. The integrated luggage rack - with replaceable wear items - add additional rigidity to the whole structure. For 2017 we've even optimised battery placement, so the diamond and trapeze frames feature down tube-mounted batteries and the step-through frame integrates its battery into the rack. The result, combined with our Efficient Ride Geometry, is an unmatched combination of low weight, strength and stability.

Equipment: A bike like this deserves only the best. That's why we selected Shimano's superb 11-speed XT transmission - with its wide-ranging 11-46 tooth cassette and smooth shifting, it's the perfect companion for Bosch's incredibly quiet and powerful CX drive unit. Shimano XT brakes - with a larger 180mm rotor at the front for better cooling - will bring you reliably to a stop in any weather, while the RockShox Paragon Gold fork and CUBE suspension seatpost will help tame even the most poorly maintained road surface. We've not forgotten about the practical details, either. That's why you'll find a full complement of SKS mudguards, an integrated CUBE kickstand and powerful LED lighting system.
