Simplicity defined: the SL Road is cycling in its purest form. We've kitted out this bike with the best technology, the sleekest looks and, above all, the potential for speed. We've even upgraded the brakes to disc for 2017, so you can stop safely in all weathers. But less is sometimes more - and that's why the SL Road is so fast on Tarmac, whether it's on the daily commute or a training ride on country B-roads. Minimalist cool - that's what it's all about.

Frame: We've welded the SL Road's aluminium frame from extremely light double butted tubes. Naturally, it's passed all our rigourous in-house CUBE testing and all necessary EN standards. We took the inspiration for the light aluminium fork's design from our racing bikes - the &ælig;ro shape is exceptionally stiff and looks fast even when standing still. We also routed the cables inside the down tube, adding to the sleek looks and reducing wear and tear in the process.

Features: We've thought of everything. If you want to, you can even retrofit the SL Road's built in fixing points with a luggage rack and mudguards. The combination of aluminium frame, Tektro HD-M285 hydraulic disc brakes, Simano Claris 8 speed derailleur gears and Schwalbe tyres makes for a fast, nimble machine that's at home in just about any situation on the road, in all weathers and at any time of year.
