With their loose fit and distinctive designs, the items of iXS’ male and female backcountry and freeride collection are designed and built to spend long days outside – be it in the saddle or building some new trails and jumps. The life cycle assessment is excellent as well as the all the collections jerseys are made from fibres made of recycled PET bottles. Still the shorts and jerseys offer top-level climate control and wearing comfort. Laser-cut vents, skilfully placed stretch inserts and infinitely variable waist-adjusters built into the shorts all add to a perfect fit of these items without restrictions, pinching or slipping. In order to prevent the items of the backcountry and freeride collection from getting dirty too quickly, iXS has treated the polyester fabric with a Mudshield coating to protect it from water and mud. And the jerseys all feature a built-in soft wipe to clean your sports glasses or goggles, and to protect you from getting sunburnt the fabric comes with a built-in 50+ UV protection.
