What do you get when you put a Rocky Mountain thunderbolt on a strict diet of carbon fibre?

The Rocky Mountain Thunderbolt 750 MSL frame is made entirely out of smoothwall carbon fibre, cramming incredible strength into an ultra-light package, without wasting any material. With its BC2 secondary pivots and Pipelock main pivot, the rear triangle of the Thunderbolt 750 MSL is stiff and responsive to your every input.

The Rocky Mountain Thunderbolt 750 MSL Is a clever little bike too.  With the patented RIDE-9 adjustment system, you can quickly and easily switch between 9 geometry settings to suit whatever trail you’re riding. Need help up those hills? Set it up for climbing. Want more grip and a playful feeling on the descents?? Set it for descending.

At the front of the bike, a lightweight Fox 32 Float FIT4 120mm travel fork keeps you pointing forwards, while a Fox Float DPS custom valved rear shock takes care of the rear wheel. The rear shock can also be locked out on-the-move using the remote handlebar switch.

Gears come in the form of a 20 speed Shimano SLX & XT mix, running around a Race Face Aeffect SL Cinch 38/24t chainset, alongside a matching set of Shimano SLX disc brakes with 180/160mm rotors. The quickest way around a trail is to keep on pedalling, and thanks to the RockShox Reverb Stealth dropper post, that’s exactly what you can do as you effortlessly adjust your saddle height, without having to get off the bike.
