The Pragma shoes meet the special needs of triathletes: resistance, lightness, breathability, comfort, sole rigidity, perfect fit and ease in quick transitions. The name Pragma evokes the meticulous development of these shoes, with every functional detail finished to perfection. In sport, to be practical means to work efficiently, which in turn, means to attain goals. The Pragma shoes were developed with four athletes' needs in mind: performance, light weight, comfort and breathability.

Pedalling performance has been maximised with the stiff RXL1 sole, made of carbon fibre. A stiffer sole is remarkably more efficient in power transfer from the feet to the pedals because it involves less energy absorbed by the shoe.

Moreover, the RXL1 sole of the Pragma shoes has neutral geometry. The shoes come with two pairs of standard insoles that riders can replace if they need a different level of arch support.

The Pragma shoes' light weight is the result of an ultralight carbon fibre sole and the design of the upper, which has larger mesh panels instead of heavier, less breathable materials that do not promote heat loss, and does not carry unnecessary elements that would add to weight.

In sports footwear, particularly in cycling shoes, comfort is closely associated with perfect fit, good support and conformity to the shape of the foot. With the carefully selected place of the ATOP dual round dial retention system and its Kevlar wiring, the Pragma helps racers apply the adequate pressure to the pedal with each part of the foot, offering perfect fit and a feeling of comfort and safety. The dials guarantee faster transitions and easy adjustments on the ride.

The Pragma shoes stand out for their adaptability. The secret lies in Flexshell, a rubber injected upper that makes the shoe robust and flexible and accepts big mesh areas for optimal breathable performance. With the great flexibility of the Flexshell upper, more pressure can be applied to the closures while keeping the comfortable feeling in a safe structure.

Breathability is a distinctive feature of quality cycling shoes, especially tri shoes, as most triathlon races unfold in places with warm temperatures. Flexshell turns the Pragma into extraordinarily ventilated shoes. Except for the reinforced heelpiece, the rest of the upper has large mesh areas in High-Flow 3 mesh fabric, the most open-weave mesh in the SPIUK shoe range.

The Pragma have a hole in the RXL1 sole that not only allows air to flow backwards but also water to drain easily from the feet to dry faster. The second insole, Cool, has a perforated base that complements the attributes of the sole.

Of course, the Pragma have all the special features of tri shoes, like a heel loop and a closure in the inner side to tug the shoe on in transitions, plus reinforced heelpiece and toe cap for protection.
