With the typical shell jacket, you take it off as soon as you warm up or the rain lets up. Usually these jackets are too protective, so you quickly overheat inside. With this jacket, we set out to engineer the airflow so that you get a small amount of air passing through the fabric to keep you dry and prevent overheating, although it still acts to completely block the wind. The DWR coating also keeps splashes and some light rain at bay. Since you’ll be wearing this jacket more often, we also took a different approach to the aesthetics, keeping it very clean and technical looking with laser ventilation holes, reduced seaming, covered rear pockets and tone-on-tone accessories. This is the jacket you’ll keep on always, or, in Italian, “sempre.”
