Lightweight summer cycling tops simply can’t cut it in a cold breeze. To beat wind chill you have to construct a top specifically for the task – and that’s exactly what we’ve done here. We started with our wind protective and light insulated fabric, which is lightweight with a very soft feel. Then we’ve added visible wind block panels across the chest and shoulders. We’ve used stretch inserts for easy movement on the bike and external gripper along the waist to keep the jacket in place and eliminate drafts. A close-fitting construction means that even in high winds, flapping will be kept to a minimum while nice details such as a double soft Lycra layer on the collar and a longer back panel keep things super snug.
