Designed and engineered to meet the unique demands of today’s rapidly evolving off-road E-bikes, this wheelset features many of the technologies established in our proven XC and trail wheelsets. The added weight and torque that’s associated with E-bikes demands a super-strong and durable wheelset, especially for XC and trail riding terrain. The E-XA Elite is built on a wide, lightweight and durable rim with a 25mm internal width, and is available for either 29 or 27.5-inch wheels. The rim is produced using our patented ISM 4D technology to remove all but the most necessary material. This allows for quick acceleration and a dynamic ride quality. They are Tubeless Ready so it’s easy to experience the improved traction and control of tubeless tires. They are laced with 24 straight-pull bladed spokes front and rear. The ITS-4 freehub delivers fast engagement to further enhance the dynamic feel. The E-XA Elite is compatible with all modern hub and axle standards, including quick release or thru-axle, Boost or non-Boost, and works with either Shimano or SRAM cassettes with an optional driver body.
