The Castelli Retro 3 Cap is an old school 100% cotton twill 4-panel cycling cap, not unlike what Eddy Merckx and his generation were sporting in the late 60s. The cotton on these caps has had a light brush for a super soft feel and in a nod, to more modern times there is a lightly elasticated microfibre headband. The cap is lightly elasticated around its circumference for a comfortable fit in the 52-60cm range of head sizes. The Retro 3 Cap also features a stiffened peak to keep sun and rain out the eyes. Finally, the cap features a contrast cotton band with the Castelli wordmark printed to the front and the Italian Tricolor to the rear. The pale blue colour screams the mid-1950s that's my choice.
