Whether you’re an Enduro racer or just a weekend warrior, you’re looking for a tire that hits the sweet spot between low weight (so you can push up the climbs as quickly as possible) and toughness, so you can survive the descent. The Deemax Pro, weighing in just 1700g, is the answer for all Enduro addicts. Lightest possible rims These rims are both super strong and superlight thanks to our unique ISM4D technology. ISM4D removes any unnecessary material to save weight and inertia but leaves enough rim wall thickness on the sidewalls and spoke bed where most of the stresses apply. The pro choice The internal rim width, which influences the final tire shape and size, is based on the choice of our pro riders: 25mm in the back to keep weight down and so it perfectly fits our 2.4'' Quest Pro XL tires. The front wheel was a little harder to agree. We got our riders to test multiple configurations, and they felt fastest with a 28mm inner rim width. However, they weren’t 100% happy with any of the existing tires on the market, including our own. The reason is that most 2.4 or 2.5 enduro tires have been designed to fit narrower rims. So when they’re mounted on higher volume rims, their side knobs become top knobs, creating extra rubs in straight line and a lack of support in the curves. There was only one solution – we needed to design a new tire. So, we started from scratch with the 28mm rim width as a starting point. The result is our new Claw Pro XL, where each knob is perfectly shaped to fulfill its task on the wide rims. XL means it's a double ply tire, properly reinforced to withstand rough ground and aggressive riding styles. And it comes with our X-Mix dual compound that provides plenty of grip and traction in all conditions. The wheel is laced with 24 strong Zicral spokes for maximum power and brake torque transfer. The rear hub features our fast engagement ITS4 freewheel system that is compatible with any drive train: Shimano/Sram and Sram XD with optional driver. Front hub is 15x100 or 15x110 (Boost) compatible, whereas rear wheel comes in 12x142 or 12x148 (Boost). 27.5 and 6 bolts only.
