Frame: This dynamic-looking carbon frame sets new standards in lightweight construction, stability and strength when compared to aluminium counterparts, weighing in on average 1kg less. That's a difference you can feel. As well as taking the time to position the motor unit for optimal propulsion (ODP), we were able to fit the battery into the ideal location in the downtube. Our special protection shield means that it's securely attached inside the frame, where it's protected against shocks and damage. Details like the tapered head tube, chainstay-located disc mount, optional internal dropper post and X12 rear axle are borrowed directly from our top end carbon frame. They all contribute to this exceptional bike's poise and precision.

Features: Shimano's brand new 1x11 transmission, with its huge gear ratio spread courtesy of an 11-46 tooth cassette, is the perfect companion for an e-bike like this. The XT rear derailleur and powerful Deore hydraulic brake system are also superb additions to the C:62 Race 29. Rock Shox Recon Silver air fork - with remote lockout - tames even the toughest of trails with ease. And we built an outstanding set of wheels around Deore hubs and CUBE EX21 rims, offering blisteringly good acceleration and amazing durability. And, of course, we had to fit the best possible high performance e-drive. The standard-setting Bosch CX is supported by a 500Wh battery for the best possible range.
