The 2015 Osprey is perfect for experiencing the speed and efficiency of a high-end road bike without sacrificing the comfort and control given by flat handlebars. Best of all, the bike comes at a very affordable price. It's perfect for all-day epic rides, training rides and hill climbing. Its rear rack and mudguards mount mean that you can easily set it up as a fast commuter or tourer. It's also available in a drop bar version if that suits your style better!
The 6061 aluminium alloy frame comes four sizes to give you a great fit. The frame is light, yet has excellent lateral stiffness for power in the sprints and the climbs. The carbon fibre fork gives a degree of vertical compliance to reduce road buzz while still giving precise handling.
The Alex double-walled aluminium alloy rims are light and strong. They're tough enough to suit an every day commuter, but light enough to enjoy long distance endurance rides or hill climbs. The Quando hubs are serviceable and adjustable for exceptional durability.
A 42/52 tooth crankset, combined with an 8 speed rear cluster, gives a wide, evenly spaced range of gears. Shimano M-310 shifters and Shimano 2300 deraileurs give outstanding reliability and performance. The Tektro dual-pivot alloy caliper brakes give great stopping power, excellent modulation and easy adjustment. The rapidfire pod shifters allow for quick shifts without moving your hands away from the brake levers. Sealed bearings in the bottom bracket and a threadless 1-1/8" headset make for minimal maintenance.
