This adaptor is specially designed to fit Birman's Hollowtech II sockets for easy removal of the high-end bottom-bracket models from Shimano.
This hardened-steel adapter slides smoothly into the standard Shimano-compatible socket tool from Birzman, for a snug fit and a precise removal or installation performance. Compatible with BB9000 and BBR60 bottom brackets from Shimano, these high-end models have a smaller bearing housing and smaller outer cup, so this adaptor is required to loosen or tighten them.
