When the road flattens, aerodynamics becomes everything. So our CXR Ultimate 60C is the best possible choice for races where the pace is super quick. CXR Ultimate 60 T is much more than another aerodynamic wheelset – it’s a true Wheel-Tire System where everything, including the tires, work together to reduce drag and increase speed. The NACA (National Advisory Committee for Aerodynamics) defined the airfoil profiles that would give us the best possible aerodynamic performance and this set the basis of our CX01 technology. In this system, both the rim and the tire are perfectly integrated thanks to the CX01 Blades, which draw the perfect NACA airfoil profile. So not only does the CXR Ultimate 60 T slice through the air faster than any other wheel in its category, but it is also the most stable in a crosswind, making it easy to steer in the windiest conditions. The tubular rim profile is full carbon to keep weight down. Spokes are super-bladed and the hubs have a smooth shape to further enhance the aerodynamic efficiency. The CXR Ultimate tubular tire tread pattern also works to lower wheel drag, thanks to a shoulder roughness that keeps the airflow laminar and eliminates turbulence. CXR Ultimate 60 T is loved by racers and sprinters competing in the world’s fastest road races.
