The softshell Mavic Aksium thermo cycling jacket makes an excellent outer layer in cold & dry conditions, or as a thermo mid-layer in the rain.

Windproof and breathable, the polyester softshell fabric has a fleece lining for warmth, with an elastic construction for a close, effective fit. The asymmetric Ergo zip prevents pressure points from occurring in certain areas – particularly under your neck when the zip is fully closed. Along with the ergonomically shaped fleece-lined collar, this makes for an incredibly comfortable jacket.

Further enhancing the ergonomics of this cycling jacket, the raglan-cut sleeves give you excellent freedom of movement, while the dropped rear hem protects your back from tyre spray whether you’re tucked in the saddle, climbing out of it or cruising along comfortably. When worn as an outer layer, the reflective highlights across the jacket improve road visibility.

The front chest pocket is designed with smartphones in mind, making use of the extra space in the middle of the jacket for a good sized pocket to keep it in, plus there are three rear pockets with a new ergonomic construction allowing easy access to your energy gels, spare tubes or other cycling essentials.
