We seriously broke with convention with this totally waterproof shell. First off, it breathes. Our exclusive ultralightweight 70 g eVent® fabric lets out the sweat at a remarkable rate. Second, it fits. Fits like a cycling jacket, not a mountaineering jacket. Third, it packs down small (probably much smaller than the rain shell you're currently using) to fit in a pocket when you don't need it. Finally, we gave it details that make a lot of sense, like external pockets that are easy to access with gloved hands and an extra-high collar and an easy-sliding waterproof zipper.
