The Scott Aspect 710 is designed to be a light and nimble, yet affordable hardtail mountain bike, combining a double-butted 6061 alloy frame with agile 27.5in (650b) wheels to give an exciting off-road bike. Scott also produce a 29er version of this bike - the Scott Aspect 910.

To help soak up the bumps, a lightweight RockShox 30 Silver air sprung fork keeps the front wheel planted, with adjustable rebound allowing you to customise the feel and responsiveness of the bike to your preference. It also features the ‘PopLoc’ remote lockout switch on the handlebar, so you can lock the fork in place to help you up those hills.

Gearing comes from a broad 30 speed range of Shimano gears, with Deore Rapidfire shifters, Deore front mech and Deore XT for the all-important rear derailleur, ensuring your gear changes take place smoothly every time you pull the trigger. Shimano take care of the brakes too – hydraulic discs with an oversize 180mm front rotor give powerful fingertip braking with superb modulation, so you can tackle singletrack descents with confidence.
