The Mavic Crossmax XL Pro mountain bike shoe is the first enduro specific shoe, designed in collaboration with 2013 enduro World champion Jerome Clementz and 2004 - 2005 Downhill World Champion & pro enduro racer Fabien Barel. There’s an awful lot of performance pedigree behind this kit!

At the base of the 2-bolt MTB SPD compatible shoe is Mavic’s Energy Grip Trail sole, with a Contagrip rubber outsole and an EVA midsole for enhanced shock absorption to help keep your feet from feeling fatigued on even the roughest descents. Combined with the dual density Ergo Fit OrthoLite insole which features breathable & anti-microbial Ortholite foam with EVA arch and heel supports, the Crossmax XL Pro is a very comfortable shoe to wear all day on tough, punishing enduro courses.

Keeping your foot firmly in place is the Ergo 3D tongue, Ergo Ratchet and Quick Lace system featuring a ballistic-strength Kevlar & aramid lace, so that you can quickly, easily and comfortable tie the shoe down. An additional Velcro top strap folds over the Quick Lace to prevent it from snagging on your bike, or any passing foliage.
