It’s by no mistake that the Castelli Gabba 2 Convertible jacket receives such glowing endorsements. The fully aerodynamic Gore Windstopper4 X-Lite Plus fabric is both lightweight & breathable whilst offering complete protection against the wind, with the added benefit of a highly water-repellent finish to stave off rain showers. Much like a wetsuit, if you do get wet in the Gabba 2 the close-fit will ensure you remain warm regardless.

The defining feature of the Gabba 2 convertible jacket is the removable sleeves, giving you the choice between wearing it as a cold-weather water-resistant jacket, or as a warm weather breathable short-sleeve jersey.

The Gabba 2 convertible is packed full of other features too. The full-length YKK® zipper has a wind flap behind it to ensure there are no weaknesses in the wind protection, similarly the rear of the jersey has a storm-flap to keep any dirt & water from being thrown at you from your rear wheel. Three rear pockets provide ample carrying space, with additional drain mesh at the bottom to prevent an uncomfortable pooling of rain water.

Castelli have taken care of all the finer details too, like a silicone gripper on the waistband to prevent the jacket/jersey from riding up and reflective trim at the rear to aid visibility on darker rides.
