The Avalanche Expert sits at the top of the family tree in GT’s trail hardtails, hydroformed & butted aluminium frame featuring GT’s trademark Triple Triangle construction, for strength and performance in a lightweight package.

The 650b specific frame gets a RockShox XC32 fork with handlebar mounted PopLoc lockout, and 100mm travel from the ultra-reliable coil spring, keeping the front wheel rolling smoothly over rough terrain and keeping you in control of the ride.

A wide 30speed range of gears comes courtesy of Shimano’s Deore groupset, with a high-spec Deore XT Shadow+ rear derailleur where the most important gear changes come from, so you can keep pedalling with full confidence in the gears beneath your feet.

You can carry that confidence into the braking zones too where the Shimano hydraulic disc brakes providing strong and reliable stopping power beneath your fingertips whenever you want it.
