Over 5 years of development have gone into the Boomslang pedals, resulting in some unique design features which completely change the game. The tapered axle uses a sealed bearing on the inside, with bespoke needle bearings supporting the outside of the pedal body, and a clever rotating trap door to make servicing a breeze. 

The result is a generously large platform with a super low-profile pedal (just 10mm thick in the centre) - adorned with 11 custom undercut traction pins on each side. These hook onto your shoes with an immense grip that traditional grub screws simply can't match.

They're tough too. When you're pushing your bike right to its limits on drops and corners, the tapered outside edge of the Specialized Boomslang shrugs off ground impacts like they're nothing.
