The current DMR Sidekick, Trailstar and Exalt frames all use a Swopout dropout specific to DMR frames.
This allows you to change your dropout to your desired type on any of the frames
Vertical Swopout (Standard)
Each of the Sidekick, Trailstar or Exalt comes equipped as standard with this Swopout.
A 10mm vertical dropout with mech hanger. A direct replacement for your standard Swopout if you have an unfortunate stack.
12mm Bolt Through Swopout
Everyone likes a responsive feel to the rear of their bike. A bolt through hub is the ultimate way to achieve this.
This Swopout will allow you to run a 12/135mm bolt through axle on the rear. DMR have the hubs to match on the hubs page. This setup is the choice of the pros.
You can also upgrade the bolt through to a Maxle should you still which to run a quick release system, see the next Swopout along.
10mm Horizontal Swopout
For those you like single speed, for winter riding or prevention of wrecking expensive gears in a stack.
This Swopout will allow you to run a 10mm hub single speed.
If you need to keep things more secure than you quick release skewer will allow, check out the Chain Tug Mech Hanger for Swopout.
14mm Horizontal Swopout
Some of us play and ride hard, and need the equipment to mach.
If you are the kind of person who hits the trails fast and hard, then consider a 14mm rear hub.
This Swopout will allow you to run the super strong 14/135mm axle hub, DMR have the hub to mach this in our hubs section - single speed, again eliminating the risk of damage to gears.
Maxle Bosses
ONLY FOR USE WITH 12MM BOLT THRU SWOPOUT. These bosses bolt onto the 12mm Swopout allowing you to run a lighter and more user friendly Rockshox Maxle quick release axle with your DMR/Kinesis frame.
Occasionally, without notice, manufacturers change product design and/or specifications.
This allows you to change your dropout to your desired type on any of the frames
